This series utilizes the same uninhibited design principles as The Flow Series. These panels are inspired by the landscape patterns that are suggestive within each piece of glass, and from the twisted Arbutus and Gary Oak trees that comprise the beautiful and unique coastal landscape on Vancouver Island. Most of the glass used for these panels is hand rolled, surpassing other art glass in its extraordinary beauty and quality. The magnificence and strength of a solitary tree living at one with the elements is expressed through the silhouette of hand twisted copper wire; some coated in solder and blackened, others retaining the radiance of the original copper colour.
Each piece is one of a kind. For glass colour options see additional images. The panels are all framed professionally by Peter Danniels using beautiful hardwoods such as maple, mahogany and walnut.
