Gixdan '97

Limited Edition of 200 prints by Calvin Hunt.

This is a print of our new Head Canoe, which was carved four our Maxwalaogwa Canoe Society. Gixdan means "Head Canoe". Raven is one of the many Hunt family crests. Raven can be seen with its head on the bow and the tail portion on the stern. The bird's claws are found in front of the black and white band design on the bow.

This print is hand produced by the screenprinting process. Half of the edition is made of stonehenge cover beige, and half on stonehenge cover white. Paper size is 18.5 x 76.5 cm., image size: 12 x 69 cm.
